Bacuri Butter - Uses and Benefits

Bacuri Butter (Platonia insignis, Clusiaceae)  is the ugly brother of the Rainforest Butters. But do not let the appearance and smell fool you, this is an amazing product, suitable for sensitive and oily unbalanced skin. It gives an amazing gold tone and velvet feeling to the skin. It is also used in the treatment of the skin anomalies and scars.
It has the consistency and color of soft chocolate fudge. The smell is nutty and earthy. Melting point is 95 ºF.

Unrefined Bacuri Butter
Bacuri butter has firming, moisturizing, astringent and cell renewal properties, it is known to lift the skin, deeply hydrating and removing dead cells while other herbal ingredients deliver age-defying benefits, soothing and calming sensitive skin to reveal a firmer and healthier skin.

Recommended usage: 1-10%

My Bacuri butter comes straight from Brazil and resealable pouches. I do accept custom orders!  I also have a Butter Sampler, 1 oz each of Muru Muru, Cupuaçu, Tucuma, Ucuuba and Bacuri butters.
