Q & A - What is Fair Trade and Self Sustainability?

Answer:

FAIR TRADE: people making your stuff overseas are not slaves, starving, kids and/or working under horrible conditions. WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU: better stuff + good karma+ better world.

SELF SUSTAINABILITY: nothing is getting destroyed in order for you to get your product. Amazon self sustainable resources are usually wild harvested and/or cultivated with no damage of native environment. WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU: lungs of the planet, animals, local and indigenous people and YOU will be around for a bit longer.

You just need to change 10% of your consuming habits to make a huge difference in our planet.

There is no way you won't get whipped by this 100% natural (no BS, 100% active ingredients, 100% organic and/or wild harvested, nothing made up in a lab.)

This Whipped Body Butter protects, moisturizes, hydrates, heals, it has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties and it is an amazing way to make your skin glow for Summertime.
Apply all over after the shower to keep all that moisture from escaping your skin, use on your legs to get a gorgeous look for that mini dress, use on dry patches, hands, feet, stretch marks, scars, small abrasions, sunburns and razor bumps.

It has been tested only on our human friends and they all look great.

It comes in a recyclable tin can that can have many uses after you are done with this butter.

You just have to use a little tiny bit. This whipped butter is not very light, it is made of oils and butters only, in order to make lotion
s more easily absorbed we need to add a few things that do not come straight from the Nature, like IPM and IPP. They are not bad but our mission is having products with 100% natural ingredients, nothing that has spent a lot of time being created at a laboratory. Some of my test subjects just use this butter when they are very dry, some use twice a day even on their faces.

The Amazon butters and oils have been tested by generations of rainforest's indigenous and local people. They are used for cooking, baking, healing, moisturizing and protecting against the elements.
Shea butter has been used in Africa for thousands of years for cooking, skin and hair care.

When we consume Amazon's self-sustainable products we give the local people an alternative to logging and farming which are the two largest responsible factors of the deforestation of such an important ecosystem.

It comes in two scents: Grapefruit-Lemon and Lavender-Peppermint. We only use superior quality essential oils.

We all know the benefits of Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter on skin and hair care, now it is time to get to know the other ingredients:

MURUMURU Butter - (Astrocaryum murumurú,Arecaceae)
This Butter is rich in lauric, myristic, oleic acid and Pro-Vitamin A. It is a powerful skin barrier repair agent and an excellent natural moisturizer. It works beneath skin’s surface repairing loss of elasticity by improving collagen production, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and protecting the skin against environmental factors that causes prematurely aging.

CUPUAÇU Butter - (Theobroma Grandiflorum, Malvaceae)
Cupuaçu Butter contains phytosterols which exert anti-inflammatory action in skin by acting as free radical scavengers, essential fatty acids omegas 3 and 6, the antioxidant vitamins C and A and high amount of phosphorus.
It has very high water absorption capacity (over 200% greater than lanolin). Due to its capacity for water absorption and the ability to obstruct the evaporation of moisture from the skin, Cupuaçu butter restores the skin's natural humidity and elasticity.
Contains phytosterols (particularly beta-sitosterol) which help regulate water balance and lipid layer of the skin.
Great for treating dermatitis skin disorders and stimulating healing processes.

BACURI Butter - (Platonia insignis, Clusiaceae)
The grease of the Bacuri oil has a high absorption rate, due to its high level of tripalmitin (50% to 55%), which penetrates the skin quickly. The high amount of fatty palmitoleic acid (5%), compared to other oils (less than or equal to 0.5 to 1.5%), makes the Bacuri oil a fantastic emollient, which can also be used as a moisturizing agent.
Said to be an effective remedy against insect bites, treatment of problem skin, arthritis and rheumatism. Can be used to reduce the appearance of blemishes and reduce scarring.

PRACAXI Oil - Pracachy (Pentaclethra macroloba, Leguminosae-Mimosoideae)
Pracaxi oil is an extraordinary oil with several cosmetic, therapeutic and medicinal properties. It has been commonly referred as “the miracle oil”. Pracaxi oil has 19% of Behenic acid (6 times higher than that of peanut oil) being one of the highest sources on the acid of all plants known and also lignoceric acid with strong moisturizing properties.
Pracaxi oil has strong antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic, antifungal, antiseptic, anti-parasitic, anti hemorrhagic properties.
Pracaxi oil is reported also to help lighten hyper-pigmentation caused by hormonal changes and as a direct result of some type of injury to the skin such insect bites or itchy rashes, abrasions or cuts, acne or acne cysts, burns, hair waxing, improperly performed laser treatments, besides improving the appearance of stretch marks.

BURITI Oil - (Mauritia Flexuosa, Arecaceae)
High in oleic acid (72%) and a natural source highly rich in beta-carotene, 5 x higher than Carrot Oil. Beta carotene is one of the most power antioxidants known for high capacity cell renewal and is great for anti-aging formulations due to its ability to increase skin elasticity.

Feedback for Rainforest Chica Body Butter Bar

So far so good!
Feedback:
Rainforest Chica Body Butter Bar - BUY
"We love it! My best friend bought this, and all she does is rant and rave about how awesome it is! She's been super stressed lately and breaking out in hives, and she said she's been rubbing this on the itchy spots and they've gone away! Thank you, as always, for making such incredible products!!! xoxoxo"

" I love the smell, so different, it smells like a clean towels in the wardrobe, and is a bit (sorry for my english) heavier than a simple moisturizing lotion, but I like untuous lotions.....my scars are getting better very fast , and I don,t think smell is stong. I need deodorant and perfume with that smell, Chrys !!!!!!!!! Really , I think you have discover something soooo good & interesting"

" I love the body butter! In fact I'm about to order more so I can have one at the shack too. I keep it beside my couch where I sit at night and rub it on my feet, hands, elbows and legs while I watch tv. I love the smell (I have grapefruit) and I love that it absorbs quickly and just leaves me feeling soft. I've even started putting it on the outside corner of my eyes and I swear my little wrinkles are getting smaller!"

"My face can be sensitive for breakouts too so I mostly only use it around my eyes. But last week I got a little too much sun on my forehead and I put it there and the redness went totally away by morning and I didn't break out at all!"

"The body bar (grapefruit) arrived yesterday. Like the scent - not overpowering - and I feel the coverage is luxurious but not overly done (not heavy). I really do need to use it for a week to give you good feedback. I use Burt's Bees products a lot on my knees, elbows. hands and feet. This is a different, lighter, less sticky feel (good!)."

"I really liked the sample I tried - I think it was the lavender one- really helped with the severely dry skin on my legs. The scent was a little strong at first, but gradually faded. It was a nice, clean scent. The texture was nice also. A little heavier than most store bought lotions, but they never work that well anyway. I would like to order some more soon so I'd have a better idea of how well my skin would do for a longer period of time. But honestly, so far, so good. They are awesome products so keep it up!!! And Mother's Day is right around the corner too so I know what I'm asking for!!! "

Don't mess with this Rainforest Chica!

Amazon Rainforest indigenous woman doing what women have been doing for thousands of years... She was probably breastfeeding AND harvesting fruits and vegetables for their tribe at the same time. I have to agree #badassbreastfeeding.

I can't give credit where credit is due, but I had to share. Thank you whoever made this meme.
